Exotic & Small Pet Sitting in Raleigh

Not every pet barks. We match your bunny, bird, ferret, flock or bearded dragon with a sitter who has hands-on experience with that species.

Why species experience matters

Rabbits, birds and reptiles hide illness well. A sitter who knows what "normal" looks like can spot a skipped meal, a cold basking spot or a fluffed-up bird early, and tell you right away in the visit report. That's why we schedule sitters by experience, not just availability.

Exotic pet sitting FAQs

Which exotic and small pets do you care for?

Rabbits, birds (parakeets, cockatiels, parrots and more), ferrets, backyard chickens and ducks, guinea pigs and reptiles such as bearded dragons. Ask us about anything else.

Do you handle heat lamps and habitat temperatures?

Yes. Leave written instructions for lamps, UVB lighting and target temperatures, and your sitter will follow them and note anything unusual in the visit report.

Can you collect eggs and lock up the coop?

Yes. For backyard chickens and ducks we feed, water, collect eggs and close the coop at dusk on request (within our 7 AM–9 PM hours).

How much is pet sitting?

In-home pet sitting is $93 per day and includes three 30-minute visits. Each additional pet is $4.

What happens in an emergency?

We keep your vet's information on file. If something happens, we contact you and take your pet to their vet.
