What it takes to become a trusted dog walker
The hiring process
All walkers must pass a state and federal background check, pass an in-person interview and are evaluated through a working interview with an experienced Hooman on Demand walker.
Before you book
- Choose a 2-hour arrival window that works for you
- Leave notes for your walker in the app
- Set up recurring walks so you never have to rebook
- Need to cancel? Give at least 24 hours' notice to avoid the $10 fee

Scheduling FAQs
When will my walker arrive?
When you book, you choose a 2-hour arrival window. If you pick 7–9 AM, the visit begins any time between 7 and 9 AM.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice are charged a $10 fee.
Can I book recurring walks?
Yes. You can set recurring visits right in the app, whether you need a daily midday walk or a few visits a week.
